Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is hiring a School Food Service Worker for our Fuel the Future program in New York. Work Monday–Friday with no nights or weekends, in a school cafeteria serving healthy meals to students and staff.

No prior experience required; we train you. You’ll prep, portion, and serve meals, keep stations clean, follow food safety rules, and contribute to a welcoming mealtime. Payrate is $17/hour.

Qualifications

• Must complete Whitsons and government-mandated training.
• Experience not required, but 1 year of food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
• Work as part of a fun, energetic team.
