Job summary

Whitsons is hiring a School Food Service Worker to support the nutrition program at a Sandwich, MA site. You’ll prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff, set up serving stations, and uphold food safety standards in a busy kitchen.

No prior experience is required—training is provided. This full-time role offers weekday daytime hours, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to contribute to kids’ health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Whitsons and government-manted training.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• English literacy to follow recipes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
