Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group in Vermont is seeking a Food Service Worker for CVSU. The role offers a daytime schedule with no nights or weekends, serving meals to students and staff in a school setting.

Responsibilities include food prep, portioning, serving, and maintaining clean stations while following safety standards. No prior experience required; training will be provided by Whitsons.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficient to understand and perform job assignments, follow recipes, and comply with safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
• Work as part of a fun, energetic team.
