Job summary

Whitsons is seeking a friendly School Food Service Worker to join our nutrition team. The role involves preparing, portioning, and serving meals to students and staff, while maintaining clean serving stations and strict food-safety standards.

We offer a family-friendly schedule with afternoons off. Training is provided, no prior experience required, and you’ll contribute to a healthy, happy school day for kids.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficiently to understand and perform job assignments, follow recipes, and comply with safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
