Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a School Food Service Worker in Orange, New Jersey, within the Orange School District. This role fits a school-day schedule with Monday–Friday hours and no nights or weekends, helping serve healthy meals that fuel learning and growth.

You’ll prep, portion, and serve meals, maintain clean stations, follow safety rules, and contribute to a welcoming mealtime. No experience needed – training provided, with competitive pay at $16.17 per hour and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED
• Food handling certification preferred but not required
• Speak and read English
• Some experience helpful
• Be able to lift 40 pounds or more

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience
• Work as part of a fun, energetic team
