The role requires a Masters' Degree and appropriate Principal or Supervisor Certification, with 3–5 years of teaching or educational administration experience.

Qualifications

• Appropriate Principal or Supervisor Certification is required.
• Masters' Degree is required.
• Three to Five years of experience in teaching or educational administration.
• Administrative experience preferred.
• ADEPT Evaluator training preferred.
• Alternatives to these qualifications may be considered by the Board.

Responsibilities

• Assists the principal in the overall administration of the school.
• Serves as principal in the absence of the regular principal.
• Assists in developing schedules of classes and extracurricular activities.
• Assists in preparing student schedules.
• Works with department heads and faculty to compile annual budget requests.
• Supervises safety inspections, inventory, and records; coordinates support services.
• Coordinates the discipline system and supports effective classroom management.
• Counsels students on adjustment, disciplinary and academic issues.
• Assists in supervision of substitute teachers.
• Assists in the implementation of emergency preparedness plans.
