Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions Inc. is hiring a Kitchen Helper to support our school food program on-site at Scotland School District. You will assist with meal prep, serve students, and keep the kitchen clean and organized during a Monday–Friday daytime shift.

Ideal candidates communicate well, follow recipes accurately, and are dependable. You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced school environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork required.
• Ability to follow recipes and measure ingredients for batches.
• Dependable, honest, and customer-focused.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Help prep and serve menu items, keep station stocked, and follow serving-size and diet guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes and keep kitchen, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized using FIFO.
• Maintain food safety, complete basic logs, assist with production records, and help maintain a safe workspace.
• Communicate supply needs, feedback, and updates to team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and assist with prep lists and freezer pulls.
• Jump in where needed, train new team members, and assist when someone is out.
