Job summary

Chartwells K-12 is hiring a full-time cook at Souderton Area SD, 760 Lower Road, Souderton, PA 18964. The shift runs Monday through Friday on school days from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with details provided at interview. Prior experience in food service is required; ServSafe certification is a plus or can be obtained after hire.

Training and uniforms are provided, and a free shift meal is included. Compensation is fixed at $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service is required.
• ServSafe manager certification is a plus or will be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food in accordance with standardized recipes and standards to meet production and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portioning and temperatures.
• Keeps kitchen clean and maintains hygiene per standards.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Follows HACCP standards and ensures proper presentation and temperature.
