Job summary

Scotland County Schools Maintenance in Laurinburg, North Carolina, is seeking an HVAC Technician to independently follow established procedures for installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC and electrical systems across district sites. Qualifications

Commercial NC refrigerant recovery certification or ability to obtain immediately.
Electrical certification/licensure required or ability to obtain immediately.
At least five years' experience as commercial/institutional HVAC technician or electrician.
High school diploma or equivalent; basic education required.
Strong workmanship, safety, and time management.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in schools.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in schools.
Perform preventive maintenance inspections on electrical, mechanical and controls systems.
Maintain stock of repair parts and equipment.
Keep tools and safety equipment in good working condition.
Read work orders and document all information.
