Job summary

Qualifications

• Possession of a license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Five years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse; three years in a school, clinical, community or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between district personnel, school physicians and nurses on medical issues and reporting.
• Oversees and trains district nursing staff.
• Coordinates health services for K-12 students and liaises with community agencies.
