Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with others.
  • Develop and implement policies and guidelines to support the School Health Services Program.
  • Recruit, select, and orient school Health Staff.
  • Supervise health staff including RNs, LPNs, and health assistants; provide feedback to campus principals.
  • Train Health Office staff.
  • Plan and supervise vision and hearing screening for the school.
  • Compile final screening statistics for annual report.
  • Review and implement health laws, regulations, directives from health agencies.
  • Plan health trainings for school personnel.
  • Assist Health Services staff with school health presentations.
  • Maintain quality of care with courteous and respectful staff.
  • Provide health education to district staff.
  • Provide community health consultation for MUSD.
  • Provide on-site support for summer school.
