Job summary

Hamilton County Educational Service Center in Cincinnati, Ohio seeks a School Health Associate- RN to provide direct medical care to students, create individualized health plans, and support IEP/504 processes in collaboration with school staff.

The full-time RN will train health aides and LPNs, maintain accurate health records, administer medications, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while promoting safe, healthy school environments.

Qualifications

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Licensure: Valid license as a Registered Nurse; valid Ohio driver's license.
Certificates, Certifications, or Other Training: CPR/First Aid certification.
Previous Work-Related Experience: 1-2 years
Access to reliable transportation to fulfill job duties
Previous Supervisory Experience: None

Responsibilities

Create individualized health plans for students and develop IEP/504 plans with staff.
Provide direct medical care, health assessments, and screenings.
Administer medications and treatments and maintain health records.
Train staff, LPNs, and health aides in health topics and safety.
