Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in nursing required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• Valid RN license in good standing.
• School nursing endorsement preferred; driving license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide health maintenance care for children in the school setting.
• Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses per protocols.
• Record and maintain accurate health records for each student.
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings as appropriate.
• Coordinate with health care providers and community resources as needed.
• Provide health education and anticipatory guidance to students and families.
