Job summary

Woodland Hills School District is seeking a qualified School Nurse to support Turtle Creek Elementary STEAM Academy. The nurse will manage health services, maintain student health records, observe for health needs, and report to the building principal.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with a Pennsylvania School Nurse certification (or eligible) and a bachelor's degree. This full-time position follows the district's collective bargaining agreement and requires PA clearances.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Certification as School Nurse preferred.
• Must be a Registered Nurse and a Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct school health services, maintain up-to-date cumulative health records on all students, observe students on a regular basis to detect health needs, prepare and submit required reports, administer necessary first aid and medication in accordance with written prescription received from parents.
