Responsibilities

• Assess student problems, refer and follow up with families and professionals.
• Notify parents of illness or accidents and obtain emergency care when needed.
• Develop and evaluate individualized healthcare plans for medically fragile students.
• Advocate for student health and ensure proper medication administration.
• Support mandatory screening programs and home visits if necessary.
• Develop campus health education and educate staff on health topics.
