Job summary

TrulyHired seeks a Nurse (CNA, LPN, or RN) to support a Florida school district. The role requires a valid nursing license and relevant experience to manage student health services across campuses.

The nurse will conduct health screenings, administer first aid, and coordinate with staff and families to uphold student well-being. Reports to the Principal and supports emergency and sanitary program needs within the district.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice as a certified nursing assistant, licensed practical nurse, or registered nurse.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience as a CNA or two years in practical nursing.
• Board may find other qualifications acceptable as alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct immunization programs, physical exams, and sight/hearing tests.
• Observe students regularly to identify health needs.
• Report health matters to parents, school staff, physicians, clinics, and agencies.
• Administer first aid per established procedures.
• Advise principal on student health needs.
• Assist staff in maintaining sanitary standards in school.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, Superintendent, or board.
• Be prepared to assist with evacuation shelter support during emergencies.
