Job summary

Qualifications

• Civil Service eligibility in Ontario County as an LPN
• Must have one year's experience as an LPN
• Ability to work with students with disabilities and/or medically fragile students
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Have working knowledge of school health care regulations
• AED/CPR Certification required; must renew with Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to students and administer treatments and medications as prescribed
• Monitor health conditions and assist with individualized health plans
• Record vital signs, weight, and maintain confidential health records in FERPA/HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with School Nurse, staff, and parents for health-related needs
• Assist in emergency response plans and health-related crises coordination
