Job summary

Fulton County Schools' Briar Hills Elementary Health Clinic is seeking a Clinic Assistant to support day-to-day operations under school administration. You will monitor the clinic, assist ill or injured students, and communicate with parents and staff.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of first aid/CPR course, and the ability to handle confidential information with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of health or equivalent course in first aid/CPR required.
• Some experience working with children preferred.
• Knowledge of basic first aid techniques.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the activity of the school health clinic under the direction of the school administration.
• Monitors ill or injured students while in the school health clinic.
• Contacts administrators and parents regarding students sent to the clinic.
• Administers basic first aid as needed.
• Attends pre-service and service meetings as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the administrator.
