Job summary

Wilson School District seeks a Health Assistant to help maintain a well-organized, safe health office for students and staff. Under the supervision of the school CNA, you will provide basic health care and support daily health office operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days, and fingerprint clearance. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, and you will collaborate with staff and families to ensure student well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer knowledge preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Ability to obtain First Aid, AED and CPR certification within 30 days.
• Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications under supervision according to policy and law.
• Handle basic first aid and health office needs.
• Perform clerical tasks including data entry and records filing.
• Maintain cleanliness of health office and inventory.
• Contact parents to relay illness or related information.
• Assist in mandated vision and hearing screenings.
