Lawrence Unified School District is seeking a part-time Coordinator - School Garden to promote and administer a school garden integrated curriculum, engaging students, staff and the community. The role requires coordinating garden activities, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and compliance with Farm to School guidelines.

The position involves leading garden workers, managing schedules, and publicizing the garden program to families and staff while promoting healthy lifestyle education

Qualifications

• SKILLS are required to perform multiple tasks with a need to periodically upgrade skills in orper to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions.of the job include: adhering to safety practices; operating gardening equipment/tools; planning and managing projects; preparing and maintaining accurate records; use pertinent software applications; computer and project management skills.
