Job summary

School for Early Learning in Forestdale, MA is seeking a Toddler Teacher for a year-round preschool program. This full-time role reports to the Director of Early Learning and requires we prioritize safety, curriculum implementation, and strong collaboration with staff and families.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months.
• Immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella.
• Ability to create and sustain a culture of excellence and work and thrive as part of a cohesive team.
• Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary.
• Preschool or toddler teacher/assistant teacher experience preferred, EEC background desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and ensuring a safe, healthy, and constructive environment for all children involved in the program.
• Understand and ensure EEC regulations as well as School for Early Learning policies are maintained at all times.
• Implementing the program curriculum in accordance with EEC regulations and School for Early Learning policies.
• Manage daily activities as well as classroom arrangement, appearance and overall learning environment.
• Act in a public relations capacity when communicating with parents and school personnel.
• Act as a positive role model.
• Maintain attendance records and all necessary reports.
• Attend mandatory training sessions and all SEL staff meetings.
