Qualifications

• 3+ years of food service management experience.
• Background as a chef or trained in culinary arts.
• Proven success in managing and developing teams.
• Proficiency with budgeting and financial management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to conduct high level client meetings and presentations.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Hands-on leadership with energy and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main communicator and day to day client contact, fostering positive client relationships.
• Plan, organize, and direct the work of the team across procurement, storage, preparation, and serving of food for a multi-operation location.
• Provide leadership to ensure food quality, inventory, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.
• Prepare and maintain budgets including purchasing and staffing expenditures.
• Approve food orders and maintain inventory to meet demand while minimizing cost and waste.
• Routinely monitor budget compliance and recommend changes as needed.
• Interviewing, selecting, managing, and developing team members.
• Lead meetings and presentations, providing direction for timely decisions.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration.
