Howard Center is seeking a part-time cook in Williston, Vermont to plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for National School Lunch and related programs. The role involves student interaction during meals and adherence to food safety standards.

Description

Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals that meet the federal programs that provide healthy food to children (National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program, Summer Food Service Program, and Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program). The cook also interacts with students during meal times, talking with them about food education.
