Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a School Food Service Worker to help serve healthy meals to students, Monday–Friday, with no nights or weekends. This role fits a school calendar and provides family-friendly hours.

You will prep, portion, and serve meals, set up serving stations, follow food safety procedures, and work with a positive, energetic team. No prior experience required; training is provided. Salary is $15/hour with paid time off and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Certifications: Food Handling certification preferred but not required.
• Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies: Speak and read English; some experience helpful; be able to lift 40 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
• Work as part of a fun, energetic team.
