Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform physical work in all weather conditions is required.
• Experience with cleaning supplies, equipment, and safe disposal procedures preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Must pass federal and state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Keep the school grounds safe, secure, and clean at all times.
• Perform routine cleaning, housekeeping, and basic maintenance as listed in the custodial duties.
• Remove trash and clean surfaces, windows, restrooms, and floors.
• Change light bulbs, vacuum, mop, and wax floors as needed.
• Set up and break down lunch tables; assist with food service areas.
• Paint, perform basic repairs, and maintain building exteriors and grounds.
• Prepare for events and ensure security systems are functional.
• Report damage or wear to leadership and follow refurbishment plans.
• Maintain tools and supplies; report extraordinary events and adapt as required.
