Job summary

Wadsworth City Schools is seeking an Adult Laborer to support maintenance, grounds, custodial, and related operations in the district. The role involves working with buses, trucks, and built environment equipment to perform tasks across several departments.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with CDL bus passenger endorsement and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to make clear and comprehensive reports.
• Physically able to lift 75 pounds unassisted.
• Able to operate a variety of machinery and hand tools.
• Able to perform light plumbing, carpentry tasks and painting; experience preferred.
• At least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks for various departments under the direction of Maintenance and Grounds Manager or district administration.
• Operate a variety of power tools, buses, pick-up trucks, light vehicles, tractors, forklifts, etc. safely and efficiently.
• Promote safety practices and procedures consistent with OSHA, PERRA, ORC and OAC.
