North St. Francois County R-I School District is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain clean and safe school facilities. The role reports to the Custodial Supervisor and Principal, with emphasis on safety and reliable daily operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning, inventory reporting, opening/locking, and minor maintenance tasks while supporting students and staff in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 90 pounds occasionally.

Responsabilités

• Cleans and preserves designated spaces in the building as assigned.
• Opens and secures building.
• Maintains safety equipment and follows all safety precautions.
• Assists in grounds maintenance and with event setup as needed.
• Crossing guard for student safety before and after school.
