Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking a Custodian/Maintenance staff member to support school facilities. The role requires ability to communicate, read, write, and follow written and oral instructions, plus knowledge of custodian methods and safety principles.

You must know how to operate building equipment such as buffers, rug cleaners, vacuums, and floor strippers, be in good health, and able to perform heavy work, including ladders or scaffolds.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate, read, write, and follow written and oral instructions
• Demonstration of knowledge of custodian methods, procedures, and safety principles
• Must have a knowledge of the use of equipment to be used in buildings such as buffers, rug cleaners, vacuums, and floor strippers
• Must be in good health and good ability and dexterity; average physical strength with capability to perform heavy work; ability to work from ladders or scaffolds.
• Demonstration of mechanical aptitude, ability and skills necessary in the operation of the hearing, cooling, and sewage treatment system

• CONTRACT OF 210 DAYS
