Responsibilities

• Present information clearly to administrators, staff, and the public.
• Apply concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to duties.
• Interface effectively with departments, staff, and external contacts.
• Pass written and physical tests related to the position.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and community.
• Comply with county requirements and Board of Education policies.
• Read and follow labels and safety warnings on cleaning agents and hazardous materials.
• Perform strenuous physical activity related to custodial duties.
• Work under minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
• Understand and follow written and oral directions.
• Complete required training and in-service as required by the county.
• Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
