Job summary

ReNEW Schools in Merrillville, Indiana, is seeking a Custodian to join our facilities team. The successful candidate will work 8 hours per day, five days per week, with a school schedule from 11:00 a.m.

to 7:00 p.m. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to climb ladders is required.

Qualifications

• Must have passed the Custodian test with a minimum score of 75% prior to the closing of this posting.

Responsibilities

• Restroom cleaning, hall maintenance, cleaning of classrooms, offices, locker rooms, outside grounds work such as operating the lawn tractor, weed eater, snow blower, snow shoveling, and other duties as assigned by the head custodian.
• Other duties as assigned by Principal and/or Director of Maintenance Services.
