Job summary

Pearland ISD is seeking a full-time custodian to clean and maintain district facilities, following routine procedures to uphold safety, cleanliness, and efficient building operations.

The role involves operating buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and related tools; frequent lifting up to 80 lbs, irregular hours, indoor and outdoor work with students present.

Applicants must be able to read instructions and follow supervisors, and be capable of physical labor in a dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain facilities following safety procedures.
• Operate buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
• Assist with cleaning duties on ladders or lifts as needed.
• Follow supervisor instructions and schedules.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
