Job summary

Orange Grove ISD Operations Dept in Orange Grove, Texas is hiring a Full-Time Custodian to maintain safe and clean facilities. Qualifications

• Follow routine cleaning procedures to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain a cleaning schedule for floors, boards, wastebaskets, windows, furniture, equipment and restrooms.
• Keep building and grounds neat and clean, including sidewalks and entrances.
• Move furniture or equipment as directed by custodial director/supervisor.
• Assist in setting up facilities for special events.
• Must pass criminal history/fingerprinting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow routine cleaning procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness and efficiency of building operations
• Maintain a cleaning schedule that will include cleaning of floors, chalk/marker boards, wastebaskets, windows, furniture, equipment and restrooms
• Keep school building and grounds, including sidewalks, exterior door entrances neat and clean
• Move furniture or equipment within the building as directed by custodial director/supervisor
• Assist in setting up facilities for special events.
