Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean facility at Douglas County High School. Responsibilities include cleaning, trash removal, floor care, dusting, and setting up for events or outside groups, while contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff.

The role supports building security, maintenance reporting, and snow/ice removal as part of daily duties, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Clean the facility and perform trash removal, floor cleaning and dusting.
• Set up building for events and outside groups in a timely manner.
• Maintain building security by closing and locking doors and windows.
• Report maintenance issues and assist with equipment upkeep.
• Assist in snow/ice removal and general housekeeping tasks.
