Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Facility Assistant for Franklin Accelerated Academy - East Campus to perform custodial tasks across the campus and act as the liaison to the night lead custodian. The role requires reliable attendance and the ability to follow directions while handling cleaning duties.

Starting salary is $17.78 per hour, with benefits including sick leave, holidays, retirement matched through ASRS, health and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year custodial experience.
• Working knowledge of custodial equipment, supplies and cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial functions for the school including specific custodial work assignments.
• Implement instructions from the principal.
• Assist principal with safety, energy conservation and security procedures.
• Coordinate work orders generated at school site.
• Order and maintain supplies to ensure adequate quantity and availability.
• Act as principal’s liaison with the night lead custodian.
