Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, polish, and vacuum floors, hallways, stairs, classrooms, and offices.
• Clean light fixtures, ceilings, walls, furniture, windows, and window coverings.
• Restroom cleaning and restocking supplies.
• Inform Supervisor when routine maintenance on custodial equipment is needed.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Shampoo and clean carpets and buff floors using mechanical equipment.
• May drive a golf cart or other school vehicles.
• Set up and break down for school events; move furniture as needed.
• Lock doors after cleaning; adhere to schedule and attendance requirements.
• Promote safety and environmental practices; use equipment and supplies properly.
