KRE Security, LLC is seeking School Security Officers to provide safety coverage for after-school events at Berks County schools in PA. The role supports students, staff, and visitors with a professional security presence and coordinated access control.

The position emphasizes dependable attendance, strong communication, and the ability to meet background/clearance requirements while offering training and opportunities for advancement within a professional school environment.

Qualifications

• Background and clearance requirements must be met per site policy.
• Willingness to complete STATE mandated trainings and certifications before working on campus.
• Security experience is preferred but on-the-job training is available.
• Strong communication and dependable attendance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional security presence during after-school events.
• Monitor entrances and control access to school facilities.
• Conduct routine patrols throughout event areas and school grounds.
• Document and report incidents accurately and promptly.
• Work closely with school administrators, staff, coaches, and event personnel.
• Follow emergency response procedures when needed.

$17.00+ per Hour

KRE Security is hiring professional School Security Officers to provide security coverage for after-school events at schools throughout Berks County, PA.

This is an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals seeking employment in a professional school environment while helping ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors during extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional security presence during after-school events
• Monitor entrances and control access to school facilities
• Conduct routine patrols throughout event areas and school grounds
• Document and report incidents accurately and promptly
• Work closely with school administrators, staff, coaches, and event personnel
• Follow emergency response procedures when needed
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for students, families, staff, and visitors

Requirements:

• Must be able to meet site-specific background and clearance requirements
• Willingness to complete all STATE Mandated Training's & Certifications before working on school campus
• Clearance process guidance provided (applicant responsible for associated fees)
• Security experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate
• Professional demeanor and reliable attendance
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Some schools require 21+ years of age, not all.
