The selected candidate will coordinate a comprehensive district-wide health program including the delivery of services to students and staff members in order to enhance health and wellness in the school community. Duties are to be performed in accordance with standards of professional school nurse practice, cooperative/state board of education policies and procedures, and Illinois State law regarding nurse practice.
The district will be seeking an individual with an Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement in School Nurse, baccalaureate degree, Registered Nurse license, current first aid and CPR program completion, and Illinois certification as a vision and hearing screening technician. The District will also work with a RN to acquire the necessary endorsement for the position.
Salary and benefits will be negotiated with the Board of Education due to the candidate's experience and qualifications. Salary will be regionally competitive.
