Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker at our Uniondale, NY location. The role runs from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with days varying. Prior kitchen prep and grab-and-go experience is preferred, and we offer on-the-job training. Online applications are accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients for recipes.
• Carries pans and trays to and from stations while following safety standards.
• Stores food with proper dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas and equipment after service.
• Supports inventory and helps maintain sanitation and safety standards.
