Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC seeks part-time sports coaches to lead after-school sessions for kids aged 5-10 at Bay Area elementary schools. Each class runs about one hour with an additional 30 minutes pre-care, using provided lesson plans and equipment.

Sessions occur Monday–Friday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, paying $50-$65 per session. You must live locally, be available in person, and complete background checks and TB tests prior to starting.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• Candidates must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports coaching or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Fully vaccinated and willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.
• Must submit a photo and short biography for the website profile.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday-Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50-$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment (provided by the company). (Coach should have reliable transportation)

Requirements

• Must be 19+ years old upon application
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Work Type

Part-time (2-5 hours per week) Pay: $50-$65 per session

Programs are offered at multiple schools across the Bay Area. Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.

We do have openings for After School Tennis, Pickleball, Volleyball, Dance, Yoga and Basketball.
