Job summary

The Metropolitan School District of Washington Township (MSDWT) is recruiting a Custodian/Maintenance at Northview Middle School in the Indianapolis area. The role reports to the Custodial Manager or Building Administrator and involves operating all mechanical equipment and performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent. The position is 7:00am–3:30pm, year‑round, with hourly pay of $21.00 and annual salary around $43,680 plus eligible extra

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all mechanical equipment and perform routine servicing, oiling, and minor repairs.
• Replace lighting throughout the building and maintain plumbing systems including restrooms and fixtures.
• Prepare grounds for winter conditions including salting and snow plowing.
• Inform Custodial Manager of repairs needing district maintenance support.
• Inspect floors, walls, windows, and equipment to keep the school clean and in good repair.
