Job summary

Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a School Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe school environment. You will perform daily janitorial tasks across entryways, classrooms, cafeterias, and common areas, contributing to high cleanliness standards and student well-being.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm, at 560 Sproul Rd, Villanova, PA. You will work closely with staff and students, with opportunities for hands-on training and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
• Must complete all responsibilities without supervision after training.
• Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial tasks in entryways, corridors, classrooms, cafeterias, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, floors, and commodes, replenishing lavatory supplies as needed.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and remove graffiti.
• Use cleaning solutions safely, adhering to all safety precautions.
• Report equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
• Assist with event support and respond to paging systems promptly.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Ensure customer service and cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
