Jefferson County Public Schools is inviting current JCPS custodians and substitute custodians to submit a bid for this custodial position.

Working calendar: 261 days at 8.0 hours per day. Salary range: $16.13 to $19.24 per hour, with a $3.50 per hour Critical Need Stipend. Internal bids must be submitted by 09/16/2026; bids from internal candidates only will be considered, per board rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform basic commercial cleaning (housekeeping) tasks in schools and office buildings.
• Ability to use/operate commercial cleaning equipment.
