Job summary

Campbellsville Independent Schools CISD Board of Education in Campbellsville, Kentucky is seeking a Custodian to perform routine cleaning and maintenance at assigned school sites to keep buildings, locker rooms and grounds secure and orderly. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, cleaning restrooms, reporting hazards, stocking supplies and assisting with events.

The role requires ability to lift heavy objects, work shift schedules and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Criminal background check and physical required.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial activities at assigned school site to maintain buildings, locker rooms and adjacent grounds in a clean, orderly and secure condition.
• Sweep, mop, wax and polish floors; vacuum rugs and carpets; clean restrooms, showers, locker rooms, offices and related facilities.
• Clean windows, walls, chalkboards, and furniture; report safety hazards and maintenance needs to supervisor; maintain security of buildings.
• Assist with special events and summer cleaning projects; order and stock supplies; respond to emergencies and cleanups as needed.
