Qualifications

• Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing a clean and safe environment for students and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Keeps building and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat and clean at all times.
• Assists cafeteria as needed in general cleaning and when appropriate, unloading and storage of delivered food items.
• Reports immediately to the principal or head custodian any damage to school property or any repairs needed.
• Secures building at the end of each shift.
• Moves furniture or equipment within buildings as required for various activities and as directed by the principal.
• Complies with procedures for storage and disposal of hazardous material.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by Superintendent or designee.
