Job summary

St. Cloud School District 742 is seeking a Custodian to handle the building’s day-to-day operations, including cleaning, grounds maintenance, security, and support for events.

The position is hourly, as needed, with all shifts (A Shift, B Shift, L-Mod) and hours that may vary to match program needs. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred are experience in a similar role and bilingual ability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Experience in custodial work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing floors; sanitize bathrooms; clean locker rooms.
• Move furniture and deliver supplies with teachers and staff.
• Maintain grounds by mowing, trimming, and snow removal from walkways.
• Clean cafeteria and equipment.
• Maintain building security.
• Clean up body fluids and secretions as needed.
