Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Physical condition to perform cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, lifting).
• Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and vacuums floors daily.
• Mops classrooms and hallways when needed.
• Dusts furniture daily.
• Cleans corridors after school each day.
• Cleans janitorial closets and stocks restrooms.
• Mops bathroom floors and cleans fixtures daily.
• Disinfects bathrooms at least twice weekly.
• Washes windows inside and out at least twice yearly.
• Maintains outside cleanliness of the building.
• Reports vandalism and littering to supervisor.
• Supervisor may assign other duties as needed.
