Job summary

Forefront Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain clean, safe, and sanitary school facilities including classrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, offices, restrooms, and common areas. This role supports the Lead Custodian and Supervisor to meet quality standards, with an hourly pay range of $16–$18 and extended hours based on school events.

The position is full-time and based in Michigan, requiring daily cleaning tasks, floor care, and adherence to safety and infection prevention

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, and common areas.
• Assist with floor care, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Handle laundry and linen operations as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables according to school policies.
• Report maintenance, safety, or facility issues to the Lead Custodian or Supervisor.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection prevention protocols.
