Job summary

Qualifications

Knowledge of custodial supplies, cleaning methods and techniques.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work independently under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Maintain an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for students, staff, and the public.
Primary duties are to clean public areas, classrooms, offices, and restrooms to prepare them for use the next day.
Daily tasks include Empty and replace liners, disinfect waste containers, remove trash, dust and wipe surfaces, vacuum, mop, and restrooms cleaning.
Weekly duties include cleaning entrance glass doors, drinking fountains, glass/frames, and damp mopping tile floors.
Monthly duties include dusting window blinds and cleaning air ducts.
