Job summary

Pineville Junior High School (7-8) Pineville, Louisiana is seeking a full-time Custodian to maintain all areas of the site building, facilities, grounds and equipment. The role involves routine cleaning and minor repairs aligned with district safety policies.

Starting immediately, the position follows the Custodian Salary Schedule-NIV with a twelve-month term and annual pay of $21,435. Citizenship/residency is required; application materials should follow Rapides Parish School District

Qualifications

• Skilled in the maintenance of school district building facilities,equipment, and grounds relative to caring, cleaning,repairing and replacing

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance activities of building facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by head custodian, building evaluator, or custodial supervisor.
• Follow state, school board and school policies relative to the safety and security of buildings, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain and/or prepare equipment and supplies as necessary for various

• Submit requests for janitorial materials, supplies, equipment as needed
• Work cooperatively with other custodial staff, head custodian, building evaluator, custodial supervisor, and other school district personnel as necessary to perform assigned duties.
• Adhere to schedule for routine and special tasks as approved by the building evaluator and head
• Attend in-service training as required by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator
• Follow federal, state, and Rapides Parish School District policies
