Job summary

Grand Rapids Building Services Inc. is seeking a full-time custodian for Byron Center Public Schools, 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm), Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Start date is immediate and pay is $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include cleaning, mopping, dusting, restroom upkeep, trash removal, and adherence to GRBS processes. Benefits available after eligibility and opportunity for advancement. Candidate should be 18+, have valid ID, reliable transportation, and ability to work

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with valid ID.
• Background restrictions: Michigan public schools require that individuals with theft, violence or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.
• Follow GRBS processes.
• Maintain mindful communication with respect to all colleagues.
• Finish tasks according to the building map and shift requirements.
• Mop, dust, clean restrooms, remove trash and other cleaning duties as assigned.
